Krystal began gymnastics at the age of 10. She was a successful club gymnast in Georgia earning multiple invitational, state, and Regional titles; 3 time National qualifier.
She committed to North Carolina State University from 2001-2005 under Coach Mark Stevenson. Was a member of the second place conference team.
Graduated from NC State in 2005 with a degree in Communications studies and a minor in psychology.
